- Kathleen Shapiro Added February 13, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★Hubby and I went here for our wedding anniversary a few years ago we lived it so much we went again on another anniversary and plan to go again. Lovely decorated rooms to suit the period of the house and gardens. I also got to meet a cute geniue pig out in the garden. Breakfast was also amazing.

She bakes delicious treats for guests including seeded bread, carrot cake, lemonade scones and home made yoghurt! She was happy to mind our bags after we checked out so we could explore the city for a few hours before catching a later flight.
The room was even more beautiful than we expected, the bed was comfy and everything was clean and tidy. The other guests were all polite and friendly. Nina was a lovely host, and the house itself is gorgeous. Rooms were neat and tidy with everything we needed, and breakfast each day (whether cooked or continental) was the perfect way to start the day, especially the little fresh baked goodies each morning.

With delicious home made bread offered for breakfast every morning, and on occasions homemade cupcakes. The house is beautifully furnished with lovely views and garden. The room was clean (Ellen Pearce Room) with tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom was a little small (but clean), but more than adequate for our stay. We will stay here again the next time we're in Hobart.
- Julie Alexander Added February 12, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★Beautiful old world mansion. Pauline and Nina were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Close to the centre of Hobart with amazing views. We will definitely return to be spoilt again.
